Read all the posts about repairing our 4 button CCC (Comfort Control Center). The switches listed in search, are not available any more. Found these. Took about 10 minutes on the kitchen table to install. Didn't solder them in, just took the switch apart, and installed the parts into ours. Works awesome. My friend sent his in, cost $150.00 to rebuild.

That be the same thing I did.
Chris & Tammy, What a good find and simple fix.
The alternative is about $300 to switch to 5-button, which has the added advantage of not accidentally turning a/c off by changing mode when all we wanted was to change zone.
Yup, but with it working correct, it rarely does that. I am cheap...LOL
I'm not on Ebay, what's that dude's name in Homasossa that's selling them?
Do you men the person's name, join Ebay and order them.
Mouser electronics has them also. Do a search on the forum for 4 button thermostat repair, I think that's where I got the part # from. Same thing take them apart and use the new parts in yours.
They are out of stock Bruce. That is why I bought these
Tried to get his email from pay pal. it is hidden. They do everything so you don't buy direct. It's Super trap Bikes in Florida?

No can do through Ebay. It won't let you give private info. I promise. have tried it
Good price. But depends on shipping. There you go
Chris
Chris, check out the shipping label.
Thank you, that's very helpful.
T-man if the seller sells outside of EBay he would lose his account. It is not a bad thing to be on EBay I buy many items there.
Bought it. Thanks
I just bought a Netgear 815s today and he sent me his phone number and the part of town he lives in.
Thanks but I'm not an Ebay guy. My daughter is a member so if I have to go through Ebay she takes care of it.
After the sale you can....And some times you can email phone numbers through ebay, some times they block it. You can get a negative for selling off ebay. I am proud of my 954 100% positive
I thought of that too,I threw it out , sorry man
Chris
For $23 shipped you wanted it cheaper?
No. I don't want to bother my daughter about it.

Thanks. It is where I got my info, but part he listed was out of stock. So I went looking for my own.
Chris
Okay, the fix worked for years but a while back the buttons got recalcitrant again and I didn't have any new components to install. So....
I sprayed a short squirt of Deoxit D5 on each of the small switches without disassembling them. Worked a treat. They've been flawless for over a year. That Deoxit is one of those magic in a can items. Expensive but essential. Lots of other uses, and no, WD40, contact cleaner, Corrosion X et.al. is not a substitute.
