I have seen used oil running out of the bottom corner of my living room slide and thought it was the power steering fluid. Turns out the slide lock mechanism is leaking and running down the slide.
I can't see what is actually leaking . I might take the slide balance apart to see if it is something simple.
Anyone had this issue to know what might go out on it ? I put the slide out and cleaned the top off outside . Good for right now but wow . Messy!
David,
In order to get to the locking pin mechanism, you should bring the slide in, remove the top valance(5 screws from the bottom and probably about 2 at each end that tie it to the side pieces). Probably able to leave the side pieces on. Then put the slide out and remove the trim on the wall near the ceiling. I think the trim is just held on with Velcro.

I tried the big valance , removed the screws and couldn't get to the side screws. Slide is out so I will try and move it in and see if it makes a difference. . I also have a couple guys coming from the rv park to help. Hope it's an easy fix
Our slide has developed a leak as well, (leaking in the bay) fear that it is a cylinder or the fittings to the cylinder, hope that Oregon Motorcoach in Eugene can remedy while they replace the windshieds & not have to travel to Moscow, IA....
Ours is also a 2002 320 build 6036
Ok we tore into the motorhome to find the leak. Turns out the mechanism has a large but at the top( just like the mechanism at the bottom basement for the slide has. The nut is leaking. I wasn't able to locate a washer or rubber gasket last time to seal it so I will clean it real good and put a good run of thread seal on it (plumbers tape).. I know it's not good for it exactly but I have no choice at this point.
