Title: Haldex filter question
Post by: hdff on November 27, 2017, 01:17:11 pm
I'm looking at a haldex filter to change mine out. If the filter is new and cellophane sealed would the date on the box make any difference? In other words can the filter go bad sitting on the shelf?

Are you talking about the spin-on Pure Air Plus canister? Then if sealed it would not absorb moisture.

The seller says the cellophane is intact but has a 1" slit in it near the bottom  Date on the box is '14. I think I'm Gonna pass on it, wasn't that good of a deal

If you don't know the condition of the air dryer, I would go to Napa and order a reman unit and install that.
