I believe the time is near for me to replace the OEM shocks on my 2003 U295 with Koni FSD shocks.
What model number do I need, and who has the best price with shipping?
Best price I found was shockwarehouse.com and they were 159.20 each with free shipping in april 2015 PN: 8805 1010

I'll probably switch to FSDs very soon. If what I hear is true, they will be well worth the $1300 plus labor if I benefit from noticeably reduced bounce. California roads are something from the 1800's.
The main reason for doing the switch, where my OEM shocks are probably as good as new, is that we plan to start crisis crossing the country next month, hopefully with Diane doing some of the driving. I want to make the driving as easy as possible for her. Also planning to get some driving schooling in.
Mine are also oem.. but with 221k I figured it was time.. are they ready? I am not sure but I am betting the ride will improve .. not that it is bad.. foretravels worst driving/ride is better than most coaches best days..
I was talking to someone in the park about changing the steering box .. he asked why and I explained that it wanders a little and with 220k plus miles I am sure it's ready.. he said ALL coaches do that.. I said not my foretravel!
