Title: Thinking of selling my 33ft Grand Villa, looking for a price point
Post by: Logowagon on December 17, 2017, 12:38:12 am
Hello all, I am leaning towards selling my 1991 Grand Villa 33ft ( Oshkosh chassis ) with a 460 and Gear Vendor with 120k miles. I think It's time to downsize to a small tongue pull. As you can see from the pics, its in pretty good shape. A few upgrades, but over all, pretty stock. Everything works that I know of but if I find something that doesn't after going over things before putting on the market, I will be repairing those items.
Any idea what I might be looking at as a starting price point?
Appreciate any comments on this.

Nice looking Coach. I have no idea what price point to tell you, not a real big market for a 27 or so year old gas mh(JHMO) unless you find someone that appreciates the craftsmanship in vintage rvs. You may be better served to try to do some horse trading to get what you want. I'm sure others will chime in.

I agree with Bruce. I believe there was a recent post here from a new member that bought one like yours. I do not remember the price and I'm not great using search. :+)

Thanks for the info, still doesn't help me determine a price point though  ;D
I had read that post on the 29. 7500 seems to be a good deal. But again, not sure where these old coaches fall anymore.

My opinion is around 10k. Looks in nice condition. Good starter for young couple.

IMHO, Consign it near you and get some lookers.  Ask maybe 16K and see if anyone getss a good look at it.  Get a 60 day deal that you can get out of if you bring a buyer.  For a fee of course.
Many have been sold for 7-12K . I paid 9K for my  ORED but have about 16K in it with new tires lubes service etc.    Yours looks nicer than mine does.

@ Protech Racing
I was thinking about sending it to PPL and asking 12. Problem I have is I am currently living in it and need to replace it with something. So kinda stuck. BUT will figure all that out later. I am thinking maybe putting up in the spring, by that time I may have already found a replacement. I would take 8k for it right now and move out by sun down though. hahahahahaha.

You could start out higher but I expect it would bring about $7500. Now is a poor time to sell. Best to wait until spring. Buyers interested in coaches this old don't usually have $$ to spend.

Post in the Austin-San Antonio craigslist.  Ask $16k.  Take good photos (can post up to 24, I believe) and throw in "Vintage"...  and whether or not one could jump in and drive off on vacation.

Great looking coach!
