In unwinding the wire rats nest in overheads I found nd at least two old school FM radio antennas. And I assume the thin whip antenna on passenger side is AM. My inclination is to remove it as well leaving only the CB antenna.
With SiriusXM and streaming data we simply haven't used the radio bands on the headunit. We also have weather radio sources on board for that purpose.
Am I missing doing something?
I never like paying for anything so Sirius or even talk of it is banned at our house along with pay satellite. :)) We use a Kenwood head unit with HD FM a lot of the time. I hate the display but it sounds really excellent. Most of the time the MiFi is on so we stream most everything IF we have internet service. We also have the bat update and FTA (free to air) satellite at home and will take it on the road. The receiver is tiny but the dish is one meter so not as convenient as the Tailgater was.
Flash drives enable you to take your entire music library in ALAC or FLAC with you along with movies without cluttering up your phone/tablet/laptop.
If you can get internet, there are so many "helper" sites out there that you can watch hundreds of movies and TV/radio stations without even bothering to use Kodi.

I think one is the Cell ant.
We listen to sat music, from our Directv in-motion satellite, or CD's from the changer. But when cruising into town, we some times listen to FM local.
We dumped the CB, the ant banged around in the wind and hit my door on the way into the shop. Got rid of the CB inside, gave me more leg room.

I use HD Radio extensively. I bought a small desktop model at bestbuy. It uses 4x AA's or a small ac adapter. I cut the ac adapter and wired a usb port and it runs off the cigarette lighter phone charger just fine on 5 volts.
How we use our (updated) in-dash AM-FM-CD-Receiver (in order of popularity):
1. Play pre-recorded music off multi-GB memory sticks (plugged into rear aux input port)
2. Play music and other programs off SiriusXM external add-on receiver (plugged into front aux input port)
3. Play pre-recorded MP3 music CD's
4. Play commercial music CD's
5. Listen to OTA FM stations
6. Listen to OTA AM stations (this has not actually happened in approximately 3 decades)
