I am posting a picture of my fan blade. It is very hard (for me) to tell, but the fan edges feel more like fibeeglas than metal.
That is the fiberglass fan you would probably be good to replace it
Stump, thanks. I will. But what is tge source for a new and improved fan? FT?
eply #15 – A month ago
My replacement fan has a decal on it with the part number 8681 and a phone number. Call it and tell them you need one. 800 851 1510
I just talked to flexalite at that number I posted above the fan is still available the price is 176 55 you can call that number and order it yourself and have it shipped to you you're welcome
Thanks very much. I will call and order.
Stump,
I called the 800- number and after being shunted around to different people, was txfr'd to the "heavy duty" line, only to be told that they weren't sure that was the correct p/n. He rattled off some specifications about bore, bolts, etc. but of course having not yet removed the fan, I know nothing of the technical dimensions or specification of the fan. I'm think maybe the thing to do is take the coach to the truck shop that will remove the fan, then have them call and order the correct one.

Might want to try the above for a nylon fan. Great service and knowledge.
All I can tell you is that is the fan Peter Fleming bought from Foretravel,Then sold his coach and gave me the new fan for mine. The old and new matched up you can see in my pictures. That is the same part number Scott Cook put on his coach. There are other posts in the forum referring to that part number as the correct one. Call Foretravel ask them. I do not know what else to tell you. Order it if it works put it on. If it dosnt make a windmill out of it for your yard or a ceiling fan, or just hang it on your wall and shake your head....I don't know...that is the only part number I have seen for the Foretravel application and Flex A Lite is the only source that uses that number..
That part number is the only one I've seen. I'm sure it's the correct one. Not sure what good a part number is if it does not designate a specific part. I'll call and talk to someone else at Flex A Lite and order it.
Where is Scott Cook, and why hasn't he joined in on this ??????
