Title: Water Filters
Post by: Super8mm on February 04, 2018, 05:50:19 pm
I am trying to figure out the brand of these filters, I need to replace one of the filter housings.  When FT put my coach back outside after finishing it they turned on the heat strips instead of the furnace and the filter closest to the outside froze and burst.

I looked it over and did not see a name on it any place but in searching it looks very close to the Flow-Pur?

As I need to probably replace the filters also might there be a better choice in filter setup?

Thanks

This is what we are using.  They have been working well for us.  Change the filters one a year or more.

Amazon.com: Watts 520022 RV/Boat Duo Exterior Water Filter with Garden Hose... (https://amazon.com/gp/product/B0018N0XCI/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

Thanks Roger, that looks like it, no markings, I will have to see if I can just get one of the canisters?

If not I will have to get the whole thing and have some spare parts  ;)

I use the SHURFLO 158196 Housing Pump with just a sediment filter.  I set it outside held up by a cutoff emergency cone with quick release connectors for easy mounting.
