After draining my tranny fluid and opening the correct Allison filter kit I purchased from local Allison dealer here in Yuma come to find out it was lacking the 2 square cut seal rings my older tranny requires. Local Allison dealers didn't have them in stock! Called Jim Fulkerson owner of Onsite RV Oil Changes he was happy to deliver and at no charge hand over what I needed within a couple hours on his way home from a long day. Giving Jim a thumbs up for his mobile service here in the Quartzsite/Yuma area.
Nice guy, I wanted service done over in Ajo, but he said it was just too far away for him. Rats!
X2 on Jim he does good work reasonable price and a great guy.
A guy like him could make a great living traveling north for the summer! ^.^d
I saw the 505 area code so I deleted my question Mike.
We did have that conversation, he did go up to PNW for the Summer and found very little work. Granted the "White Sheet" ( weekly paper in which he advertises) is pretty popular here in the Yuma area for Winter RV visitors.
Some Parks permit work on coaches, others don't. The Park we stayed at in Prescott had business cards at the desk of various tradesmen. Sure worked swell for us! The Park we're at in Ajo has no problem either. ^.^d A fluid change mechanic would be a godsend!
Does he do any mechanical work, other then oil changes? I saw his ad. We are here too. I haven't seen your coach, about 6 others in the foothills.
