Bolts to the awning arm, holds the door open when awning is out. Swivel rod on arm has worn out. Any clues where to get a complete replacement? ^.^d
Looks a bit odd. I would try Foretravel parts first. They will know where they obtained it from if they don't have one.

You can replace just the plastic socket . Thats what wore out on mine.

Not the socket, The metal arm is so loose that it won't click & lock into a closed position when I raise the awning. Already scratched the side of the coach. :-[
hey Stump, did you know that those rubber stops are adjustable by tightening the centre screw in it? Cannot figure what Mike is talking about on his post as all it shows is the arm in stop.
Mike take some more showing the loose arm.

Here's the loose arm: just wobbles like crazy!
Looks like you need a handyman to take apart and fix. I guess what ever is holding that arm to plate needs to be removed and a short bolt replacing it with a nylok nut so you can set the tension needed so it moves 45* each way. there are 2 notches on centre position that hold the arm out at 90* so that is the main setting when in use. Tighten it to fit slightly snug and you should be ok with that.

Different lengths.

Yes John I am aware the receiver is adjustable ,I tried it on mine but it must have been just too worn out.
I tried to tighten mine up, but seemed like it was riveted in. Small pieces of gasket (keeper?) came out of the top, which made it worse. Apart it comes, strange that it was not a nut/bolt in the first place!
Thanks, I'll measure and order a fresh one. b^.^d b^.^d
Mike, it looks like it is a custom rod. Take off the 2 screws cut the rivet get a bolt and locknut and 2 nylon washers. and re-assemble.
Mike does your pivot? Mine on my 91 is fixed.
The arm on the awning pivots. The arm on the coach is fixed, to lock the door when the awning is up.
Ahh Ok I see now I do not have the arm on my awning. Guess I need to look into one of those. ^.^d
C'man, we both think the same way by looks of it!

Rats! Just got a E from the company, "item is no longer available." Back to the nut & bolt idea of John and Chuck's. If anybody hears of anyone else that might stock the 5 1/2" version, give a shout.

I agree, good idea. I need a new cup on the door, mine is dried out and no long holds that ball on the end of the arm. It is $2.46 but shipping is $18.46. :o
You are the man! Now that I look at the new ones and mine, I can't tell if their rod is bent as is our's is. I'll E the link you sent and have them look. Knowing him, it could be Brett bent it!
If I can find the right door holder , I'm going to order a bunch of cups (I have one on the bottom of the door, too) and offset the postage a little bit!
