(I posted this under another topic, but don't think many saw it).
There's a 2003 36' U270 for sale in Huntington Beach, CA that has been on the market since before we bought our coach in June, 2016. It has full body paint, ISL engine, single slide, newer tires and batteries and a 2010 Jeep Liberty 4x4 is included. They claim that it has been stored inside. The photos are dated back to 2010, but that might not be significant. The price has been dropped to $109k. Has anyone seen this coach?
2003 Foretravel Motorcoach U270, Class A - Diesel RV For Sale By Owner in... (https://www.rvt.com/Foretravel-Motorcoach-Foretravel-U270-2003-Huntington-beach-CA-ID4624115-UX111622)
We tried to see it last March. The owner said it could not be seen until the next fall because they were getting ready to leave on a long trip. That motorhome has been for sale since 2010, I emailed the owner a couple of years ago and at that time I think it had 133,000 miles and we decided not to sell our '98. Called him last year because we had sold but didn't like his answer so we kept looking. It's been for sale for so long I'm not sure he really wants to sell.
I am pretty sure this is a bait-n-switch scam. I called twice over the past few years and was told it was sold but they have others (SOBs) available

The coach has 123,000 miles and 1000 hours on the genset. The number in the ad is my cell number (714-713-9898) and I am the only person who answers that phone. Don't know what numbers you dialed or who you talked to, but it wasn't me. Ad has been up for some time but is still active and the coach is still for sale. You can see my reply on the other thread dealing with 2003 Foretravel U270 in Huntington Beach, CA.
Joe is my first cousin and he was the guy who advised us to consider nothing but Foretravel. We did, found and bought our 2002 U320 and are grateful for his counsel and this forum. Joe knows Foretravel coaches and is a very "conscientious" owner. I saw the coach last spring at OTM when he had the slide bladder and airbags replaced. It is still as nice and well maintained as it looks in the pictures. I saw it again last September in the storage facility in Long Beach(?) where he has kept it for years. Also, Lance or Joey, formerly with OTM before it closed could speak to quality of the Shirley Foretravel.

Since the coach is still for sale, I apologize for suggesting it might be a scam. It is surprising you've had no viable offers over the past 3 years or so. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks you for the apologies and being considerate of my post and position. We have not been motivated to sell until recently. Wish it was otherwise but we are not complaining. We love traveling and Foretravel and all the wonderful people on this forum!
