I posted in the "what did you do to your coach today" thread recently that I installed a cyclone tank vent. You know, the little weather-vane looking deal. Man, it is amazing! We drove about 500 miles then setup camp here at the NP. The winds here have gusted up to 60mph since our arrival from a variety of directions. We have had zero, zip nada black tank smell.
Total game changer. Pam is happy. Me too.
In camp host terms that is a "tent roller" Welcome to Gumo.

Indeed. The maintenance guys convinced me to chain down the coach. I said, really?? They said they'd seen bigger rigs blown over here. The host site has 8 tie down points and a shed full of chains, shackles and turnbuckles. The 2nd evening here was pretty wild. Got up in the middle of the night and retracted the bedroom slide. That stopped the slide's awning from banging around and made sleep possible.

If it gets too bad you can volunteer to go over to Dog Canyon. You can set up on the old house slab at the Kincade home site. This place is down in a ravine and totally protected. Lot more low key over there also. We would go back in a heart beat once some things get lined out for us. Hope you have a great time out that way.
Back on subject, that sewer vent may need to be replaced after you get off the mountain as it may exceed its turning/spinning design parameters.
