Here we go again. Use a search, but this one could have legs.

GeeBee,
Welcome the the forum. If you would update your profile/signature with year/model of your FT be easier for others to share their experience and knowledge with you. You will find this site to be full of information, for the most part what you are looking for probably already experienced by someone. If you would use the search function you may find what you need immediately. Your on board air system should already have a tire inflation connection. However some folks do prefer secondary. I found this :  110V Aux Air Compressor Install (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=31836.msg285833#msg285833)
You found the best group of very helpful folks.

I like this one, fits in my coach nicely, big enough for tires, small enough and quite too.

Must have a dryer to take any moisture out of any air induced into the system

You might consider a Power Tank or similar setup.  Dry air.  Quiet.  160 psi.  25-45 cfm.  Works for me.

I bought Roger's suggestion a couple of years ago and have been very pleased with it.
