Title: Window slide question.
Post by: Mike Leary (RIP) on March 21, 2018, 08:22:53 pm
Some of our windows don't get opened much. Now that it's heating up (91 tomorrow!) I noticed they are hard to open, so hard I'm afraid I'll break the latch. What do you all use to keep the channel slippery? The ones we use a lot are fine. Silicone, or?  ^.^d

There are some really great dry Teflon spray lubercants available now. I have used mclube in the past with great results. Not very good results with the crap they sell at Walmart.

Suncoast Designers used CRL wax in a tube (applied with a wooden stick) to un-stick my windows, get it at Amazon....

Also, 3 in One makes a new product, 10 oz. can about $6, called RVCare Window & Track Dry Lube, 3-IN-ONE Oil Corrosion Protection | Stop Rust, Lubricate & Protect (http://www.3inone.com)
