Has anyone found an alternate source for the purchasing the 12 volt air solenoid coils? Sound like HWH, MOT and FT are the only vendors.
Thanks,
Bob
Bob,
Most any 12vdc coil will work as long as the center hole is the proper size and the coil length is correct. (you can look at the size specs. on the net to compare) The only thing special is the lead end plug. You can just cut off the OEM plug off the old coil and solder it to the new coil leads. Remember to put heat shrink tubing on the leads first or you will have to do a redo. Don't cut a corner and use a crimp fitting here as in the future sometime it will corrode and cause you trouble. I have been in a bind and used a coil off a snow plow blade as it was all that was available at the time. I have bought some from an electrical supply company and even eBay.

Some air and hydraulic control supply shops also sell them.
Someone on here posted this vendor the other day.

Yes, have bought a few there. They even mailed them per my request, because I was out of town. very friendly. HWH sells just the coil, but at $77.00 a pop, then you have to deal with the plug, it's not worth it.
Yep. I bought several generic solenoids on Ebay for a few bucks, the coils replaced the originals just fine. I suppose you could rewind the old coils with some magnet wire if you're in a pinch as well. No magic to these things and no need to get bent over purchasing oem parts. (Interestingly enough, the plungers in the ebay valves looked very close as well but didn't try.)
Thanks
Lets see a link

Don't have one. Bought three years ago, long gone.
Match voltage and amps, center diameter (1/2" iirc.) It's not a close tolerance fit as far as coil goes.
Thanks ^.^d
I'll see what I can find.
