Title: HWH aux pump air gauge
Post by: Fiddler on April 06, 2018, 01:58:45 am
I'm working  with Randy at HWH to trouble shoot a problem with the aux pump running constantly again as it did before they replaced the bladder a couple  of months ago in Moscow.  Nonetheless Randy wants me to hook up an air pressure gauge to the aux pump but I don't know which air output line to use to hook the gauge up to.  Need some guidance.

There are at least a couple of places depending on what he wants you to monitor.  I had one where the air line attaches to the manifold block inlet.  You could also put one one the outlet side where the bladder attaches to the manifold block.  My manifold block is located on the drivers side on a rear basement compartment wall.

In reply to Rich Bowman's post:  The purpose to Randy asking me to install an air pressure gauge is "to measure the output of the aux pump"  as among the troubleshooting steps to determine why the pump will not shut off.

I'm still in the process of applying soapy solution to the numerous air fittings around the coach but no luck thus far.

On a possible related note, my Haldex air dryer is due for general service.  I'm still looking for the post as I believe it was Brett Wolfe our moderator who posted comment some time ago as the possible culprit for air leaks.

I'm in the process of finding the best source to order the kit.
