Has anyone found led vanity bulbs to replace the round frosted incandescents in the bathroom and bedroom?
I have 12 to replace and the prices range from $15-25 for each bulb!
At those prices I may just replace the fixtures.
Don't feel alone, I just replaced one dinky bulb in our Dometic fridge: $18.00 w/postage!
Try Gold Star 20990080. They are currently out at Amazon, however Pippenings has them $14.95 for 2 bulbs. I have had them for a year and they work great. Brighter and a whole lot cooler.

We use warm white inside the coach. These LED bulbs are really nice. Settled on them after trying several from Amazon and returning the others.

I had to buy qty 20 and only needed 6 (we have 2 vanity fixtures (1 in the potty room and one in the main bathroom) and each has 3 bulbs. I have 14 extra if anyone wants some.
Chris, that fixture might work nicely. Is the metal color all oiled bronze finish? In the ebay pictures it looks like maybe nickel with the sides oiled bronze.
Could you measure the base size for me? I want to make sure it will cover the same footprint as the existing fixture.
Also what type of bulb does it take?
Thanks!
Look at these.

Amazon at : Amazon.com: Gold Stars 20990080 Natural White LED Vanity Light (20-99/1156... (http://a.co/ihMGwdT)
It's not available now, but the part number may be useful.
Exact replacement.
These are no longer in stock at Amazon, but can be found here: Gold Stars 20990080 LED Vanity Light 20-99/1156 Base 130 Lums 12v or 24v... (https://www.pippenings.com/rv-supplies/product/gold-stars-20990080-led-vanity-light-20-991156-base-130-lums-12v-or-24v-natural-white/)
These may be the appropriate replacement, but I think they would detract from the appearance of the fixture - they will look odd, in my opinion.
Oh, the only issue was that I had to re-silicon the globe base. They skimped on the original clear silicon glue that held the globe to the base. Otherwise, the LED performance over the last year has been good.
Yes, the picture on Ebay doesn't do justest to it. They look really good and match nice. They are a little shorter (just the base that bolts on 11 1/2"), so I just used oak putty to fill the 2 holes at the bottom. It covers really close. Can't even see it. I am picky too.
See a picture I took of one.You really don't see the nickel part of the base, only the oiled part.
Here is the bulb:

I didn't get them from this ebayer, but same thing. BTW, make an offer on the light fixtures, he will give you a break. I bought 2, liked them, then bought 2 more. They are really nice quality.
Sold the old ones on ebay ASAP for $20.00 each plus shipping with bulbs.
Tim : I also had to re-attach globes. So far two of them. Other than that they work great. Sure a lot cooler temperature wise.
Here are mine. Couldn't find oil rubbed bronze so I pulled them apart and painted them. Added led bulbs and they came out great..
I installed the same as DavidS did but changed the LED bulbs out for warmer color bulbs. Mine were already bronze so no painitng needed.
I actually did also. Originally I did the bright white.. wife didn't like it so I swapped them out to the warm. I like it bright.. hospital bright.. wife like it in a cave. They do say opposites attract !!
