Came to Branson MO today turned Aqua hot switch on and nothing happened.
Would appreciate any suggestions. Checked breaker turned the 110V heater on but it isn't near the heater as diesel
Thanks
Chris

Does the fan kick on? Go through the situation step by step.. does it sound like it is trying? Does the electric side work? What sounds are you getting or not
I had a fuse in the main unit that was loose. I just pushed it in and the AH worked
Chris,
If you had just drove from your house to Branson the A/H nit may have been up to temp from the drive. When it cools down from the drive the thermostat may let it start up. The engine heat loop heats the A/H when driving so you can have hot water when you arrive, along with pre heating the engine when cold.

Light stays on, fan doesn't try to come on, water was cold last night The electric side seems to be working water is warm this morning
fan still not trying to come on
Mike, we had warm water when we first got here then it went cold
,MrIrishSam Where is fuse in main unit?
Thanks
Chris
Chris,
The fuses for your Aqua Hot are mounted on the face of the tank, under the cover above and to the right of the burner. The first fuse is for the motor. If it is blown, switch on but no action from the motor and no burner operation.
With the light in the inside switch on, the main power from the coach to the heater is good. So, please check your fuses. Motor is 15 amp and the rest are 10 amp available at all auto parts stores.
This does not apply to those who have a newer heater with an Electronic Control Board.
Rudy, just checked all fuses they are all good, Turned hot water on (to cool water from electric) water went cold after a few minuted
Still no fan or burner-- all suggestions appreciated
Chris
Just a "down and dirty" check..
There is a panel just above the burner mounts held with 2 small screws, remove that panel (2 small screws)
You will find the thermostats, the 2 thermostats with the black and a blue sticker or painted dot are the ones for the burner.(should be the ones on the left as you are looking at them)
Check to see that all the push on terminal wires are clean and tight fittling, if they are then, (also follow the red wire that goes to the burner...there may be an additional spade connector on it as well to ease service of burner)
take a jumper wire and momentarily jump the in and out wire terminals (bypassing the thermostat) (DO the top left ( blue one) first as that one was the culprit on ours)
IF the burner blower starts then you have a bad thermostat.... $71 (I think) for the pair @ Roger Burk's

Chris, if you can't find something simple like low fluid etc. Branson Motor Coach is a AQUA HOT factory authorized service center.
Well Chris, I am home from a heater fix today. Get your VOM meter, get at the heater and call me, 7 one 3 8 one 8 3234.
Rudy, Ill call you in morning we just got in and it is still storming and raining here suppose to stop by morning( I Hope)
I appreciate the help
Thanks
Chris
Thanks All got heater going this AM Apparently the spade on the tank thermostat (top Left Blue) wasn't making good contact . When I pulled spade off then replaced it everything started up.
Again, I appreciate all the input from everyone
Chris
Chris, get a small tube of dielectric grease and put a small amount on the connecting parts. It will improve the connection and help prevent oxidation and corrosion.
Yes! Check those spades! We had a spade that didn't get connected properly. The thermostat blade was between the spade and the plastic insulator around the spade. It caused short cycling of our AH unit, and the unit would error out.
When doing a visual inspection everything looked like it was seated properly. Had to remove and reconnect them to make sure. Once the spade was connected properly the AH unit operated as it should.

Update-- Got home took aqua hot apart and found major problem --at least to me--
Ordered parts from Roger got here after lunch yesterday and by 7:30 last evening had new combustion chamber installed new nozzle installed reset pressure to 145
Per aqua hot Manuel checked spray pattern from nozzle then put back together and fired it up everything seems to be working fine so far
Thanks again to Rudy for taking ph call and walking me through
How long has it been since the last A-H service?
Looks like the fuel shutoff solenoid is not sealing properly.
