Dash gauge lamp part number needed...
For the attached pictures. . .
Does the bulb unscrew or pull out from the plastic base?
What is the bulb part number?
Does the new bulb come with a new plastic base?
Barry, thanks for posting this.
I was able to get the rest of the bulb out. Push and 1/8 turn CCW.
The part number on the base appears to be OSRAM 12V 2W W5d
The closest match I can find online is topbulb (https://www.topbulb.com/12v-2w-t2-incandescent-midget-bayonet-base) for $1.52@ but the minimum order is $35 plus $10 shipping. Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/12V-Incandescent-Midget-Bayonet-Base/dp/B00R57IBNE) at $7.45@ is probably a better bet if not sure it will fit.
Any other suggestions welcome!
I just went through this. I wanted to replace with a higher output bulb or LED.
The stock bulbs are JKL-330. T1 3/4 midget base.
I bought some LE-MF -12v LED bulbs but found the light out put because of the frontal illumination did not work well.
Grant, looks like Amazon for box of 10 is priced ok, if you can't find them locally. B
Try NAPA. I have had good luck getting bulbs from them.
Thanks Lon, Chappell and Barry.
At O'Reilly's just found bulb SE 1274 which is equivalent to Phillips 12829 which is equivalent to Osram 3898 which is hopefully what I'm after. Box of 10 for $10. Delivered in 3 or 4 days.
