Does anyone happen to know the part number to the drain valve for the wet tank on a '91 U280? This is the one on the driver's side just in front of the rear tires. I can't find anything in my manuals that seem to ID it, and I have a feeling mine has been changed to something else. What I have looks like those add on oil pan drain valves, and when I look up drain valves on the net most seem to have a cable.
The threads are 1/4" npt,look for a brass ball valve rated for the air pressure.Should find one at a store that sells air compressor parts.

That is what I suspected. The ones on the dry tanks on mine look exactly like that, but the one by the rear wheels for wet tank looks completely different. I recently replaced the drain cock on my wet tank and also on one of the front tanks. According the invoice It's 1/4""mp and the part no. is PDC V601-4. The stems are different from the original but work just as well......no leaks!
