We have a 2017 Foretravel Realm. The slide control all light correctly when the key is turned, but the air seal does not release and the slides do not move. We tried to retract the jacks and they too do not move. There is no noise to signal that anything is trying to operate. We have tripped the breakers and checked the fuses located in the coach. Could there be another area to check a fuse? Is there a way to manually operate the jacks/slides?
Welcome, new Forum members. Sorry to hear you have a problem with your 2017 Realm. Although this Forum is usually a good place to ask questions about Foretravel products, we don't have many new Realm owners registered. This means it might take a while for a knowledgeable member to respond. We're not ignoring you - we just are not very familiar with your model coach.
In the meantime, have you tried looking in the obvious places for a answer? Not trying to insult your intelligence - just asking what resources you have available. Some coaches come with a good set of documents...some don't. Did you check the Realm Owner's Manual?
What HWH Series system is fitted to your coach? Do you have the appropriate HWH Owner's manual? HWH usually provides a very good trouble shooting section in their manuals. That would be the first place to look. If you don't have a hard copy, you can probably find it online with a quick Google search.
Are you Motorcade Club members? If so, you are entitled to tech assistance, but the trick is getting hold of someone who knows your particular coach and HWH system. You can try calling the factory and see if anyone answers, but it is Saturday so they are closed.
Did you buy your coach from Motor Home Specialist (MHSRV) in Alvarado, TX? If so, their service department might be able to help? Contact Us (http://www.mhsrv.com/contact-us/)
Give us a bit more info to work with (like what series HWH system you have) and we will try to help.
I would call the Foretravel emergency line. They can get you going. It sounds like a fuse but where it is located is the question.
You wouldn't happen to have that emergency number would you? We have gone all through our manual and can only find the Motorcade number.
Thank you Chuck and Jeannie!
Yes, we did purchase it at MHS and have called them, even called our salesman's personal cell number. So far no call back, but I think part of that is because it's a weekend.
We have gone through the HWH instructions, wiring manual, googled it, everything that we can think of. I appreciate all your help and any other help in the future!
It's a long shot, but park brake on? In neutral? Tried it with engine running? Master 12 volt switch is on (usually near the door)?
Our older coach has a HWH reset button on drivers left side. Anything like that near the drivers seat?
If you can find the HWH module in your basement, unseating the connector plugs, then reseating may do the trick. If multiple similar plugs make sure what goes where.
my slide would not come in today. hmmmm. check the easy stuff. Grandson had hit the "salesman switch" - didn't really moe it much from the "on position" but enough that the 12V was off to the coach
Check the simple things first is the only advice I can give - DO you have the MOT and FT after hours emergency phone numbers/ If not PM me and I can share MOT with you, I may have FT as well

Slow Sunday morning here - just wondering if any progress has been made on this situation?
I am guessing the 2017 Realm is equipped with the HWH 610 Series leveling system. This system includes "Spacemaker" room extensions, and supports hydraulic jack levelers. If my guess is correct, then the HWH Owner's manual is linked below:
https://www.hwhcorp.com/ml12726.pdf
Perhaps some of the Smarter Kids on the Forum could look at the manual, and see if any ideas pop up. One of the problems with diagnosing these leveling system/slide system problems is understanding how the the HWH system is integrated into the Foretravel chassis. You have to know where to look to find the electrical interface between HWH and coach. This is where our knowledge base is lacking.
Thought of a few more questions that apply to almost any trouble shooting situation. When did the slides last operate normally? Since that time, has anything been done or changed or modified or added to the coach? Any maintenance work performed? If so, that is the place to look.
Might have already been verified, but correct battery voltage is essential for proper HWH system operation. If you don't have at least 12.6 volts (resting) on both battery banks, address that first then try slides again.
From HWH manual: The red "JACKS DOWN" warning light on HWH panel must be illuminated before slides will operate. Bad micro switch?
Hope you DO find a simple solution...they are the best kind.
Any resolution to the problem??
Thank you to everyone for helping! We are talking with James at Foretravel and it appears that it is the pump or solenoid. Unfortunately not the easy fix we were hoping for, like a fuse.
I appreciate everyone's help and input!!
Please keep us all updated on your coach and how it performs for you. It would be nice to hear how the "new stuff" works and your experiences.
We had a short bent piece of flat metal that swings around to keep salesman switch from being accidently moved. Pivot it to turn switch off. This simple mod will save hours of problem diagnosis and other issues if moved while driving.
