Title: Request: Service Manual - 1990 Oshkosh M line ford 460 engine (1990 29’ GV)
Post by: ZHammer on May 08, 2018, 07:31:15 pm
Hello!

I'm trying to get my alternator seated correctly. Has 1 bolt missing, one bolt that won't screw in, and one holding it on.

Looking for the service manual to hopefully find the correct bolt sizes.

Oshkosh M line chassis on the 1990 foretravel grandvilla with the Ford 460 engine in it

I believe that is a standard Ford alternator and mounting, might be able to find a ford manual for f250 with 460

Wasn't able to find a service manual for this so far (but I do have info on that in the back of my Oshkosh owners manual for the chassis.)

But did get Everything seated correctly.

Needed a different sized bolt. Not sure what size, but the mechanic had one that worked lol!

And you probably know by now, Freightliner bought the Oshkosh Truck chassis from Oshkosh truck.
When I need help I send an email to: fcccservice@daimler.com to the attention of Les Michaels or Mark Fraedrich.
These two guys seem to be the only ones that know where to find the information I needed for our 1989 GV with the Oshkosh Chassis.
