Title: New rubber airlines for Hadleys
Post by: nitehawk on May 27, 2018, 08:56:05 am
Anyone replaced the rubber tubing for their Hadleys?
Either my lines are leaking somewhere or I have a bad pump. It seems to run an inordinate amount of time when I first turn on the ignition, and runs pretty long after/if I actuate the horns.
The horns seem to blow a decent amount of time when I hold down the horn button.

Sounds more like the valve may be the problem if it runs after you let off the button.

Question: where might I find this valve?
The little compressor does run on if I hold down the horn button too long. But it does shut off. Then, after awhile the compressor will run a bit again.

I would the line between the compressor and solenoid first. There also may be a check valve at the ac discharge. Is there a small tank for your electric compressor?

There should be a reservoir for the electric compressor and it may have a leak if the compressor is coming on without using the horns. soapy water should be able to locate the air leak.
