Title: Bay doors leaking
Post by: TAS69 on June 13, 2018, 11:21:31 am
Have noticed some dampness after heavy rain at corners of three bay doors [the ones not fully protected by awnings]
Hoping against hope that new rubber seals is the prescription although several of our door panels have taken a concave "warp" over the last 20 years and I suspect this is at least part of the problem.
Has anyone else dealt with this problem? Sorta missing my old 280 doors at present 😏

If designed like my 2003, have you moved the "pins" on the top outer edge of compartment side (not the door side) inward about 1/4"?  These are the adjustable pins that the door latches onto when closed.  If the door won't latch with a 1/4" inward movement, try 1/8".

Basically, the pins can be moved inward for a tighter seal until they no longer catch and lock, then back it out a small amount.  "Crushes" the rubber gasket a bit more for better seal.  Worked for me.
