Title: Re: Familiar with 1985 38 ft diesel pusher
Post by: Philip on July 03, 2018, 08:09:19 pm
My 1985 V917 is missing the cap on the front water tank.  were do I find a replacement cap?  Brand & part number>

Philip
Can anyone  help with the valve on the water heater from the outside of the couch?  Something is missing I expect it to be a shut off valve. When I hook water to the cold water intake water comes out of the gas water heater. It's a female threaded socket.

Thank You in advance

Sounds like the drain plug is not in the hole. Or the pressure relief valve is either open or missing. New drain plug at camping world and I have seen them at walmart in camping section.

Usually a white nylon plug, pipe thread (tapered thread) with a 15/16 hex for your wrench.
It is usually used, when removed, to allow water to drain from the heater.
