I have an issue with the switch on the cruise control lever on my 96 270.. King air in Minnesota was able to help me with an issue I had under the bed with the control box and I repaired that with a new control board. Since then a problem has developed in the switch on the cruise lever.. I cant see a way to take the lever apart as it is a one piece molded plastic.. Called King Control and they don't do the control switches on the lever but he did give me a number for Rostia.. Called Rostia and the man was to busy being an azz to offer any help. He did tell me to call Foretravel to find out who mfg the cruise lever and James in Nachogdoches has and is trying to find the supplier. Question now is have any of you had the problem and if so can you tell me who may have built these levers.. Cruise works intermittently and I can move the wires and it will engage. I hope I don't have to call Rostia again because we don't dance well together, I may drive by foot before doing that again. I don't know how a business last by talking to customers that way.. I can be a bit sensitive when I am the one paying the bill I will admit. Oh well, that rant should be a post of it's on.
A photo of your lever might be helpful in identifying the maker.
Ours has a King Control, installed complete in 2004 (throttle set @ 75%). I can dig through the files if you get no help, prolly have the wiring schematic. ^.^d
My lever I suspect was installed by Foretravel in 96 Mike. If this becomes much more of an issue James @ Foretravel mentioned installing an air controlled system ,and I will if need be but would first like to try and fix this.. I've done the search here and while there is a lot of cruise issues talked about, can't find my particular problem. King control put me on to Rostia and I have mentioned that. King control didn't say as much but sounded like the stalk or lever may be a piece they don't do.. King did give me a part number he thought may be right but I can't have enough conversation with Rostia to find out.. Tellin ya straight the man there picks up the phone with the attitude I can't help you and wont try to get beyond that.
Here is a pic (not a very good one) of a lever that I purchased on ebay a couple of years ago. Seller: peacerainbeausales. Price: approx. $30. I it had 5 leads and the existing lever only used 4; so I had to do a little diagramming and modification. But, it works. Maybe this will help you.

Looks like a good number. I was making it complicated and had the flippen right parts number all along. I wasn't calling Rostra again.. My Thanks.

After looking at those pics for the parts numbers listed above, that lever is quite a bit different than the one I bought and the one I replaced.

Finally got to this and am reporting results for other's replacing cruise control stems.. The switch portion of this replacement I believe is right.. part number 250 3032 from Rostra , not sure if Rostra is correct spelling. The problem is attaching the replacement stalk to a cut off stalk. The original stalk is a solid piece and to small to drill a hole thru plus the replacement lever being hollow has the wires running thru it making sliding it over the cut off impossible. We took the existing cruise apart and for no reason to be seen it started working.. Returning the replacement and when/ if, probably when the problem returns I will take the coach to either Foretravel or MOT and have a air system installed. Foretravel claims the air system is more reliable. We do most of our on work on the coach but I wont guess at something but so long. Maybe this experience will save someone else a step in solving cruise issues.
My preference is air throttle and King control electronic cruise.
1 more failure here and that's what I'm doing.
