Title: diaphragm Valves
Post by: Chris m lang on July 25, 2018, 09:06:46 pm
The diaphragm valves on the front air tanks --what are they called and where can you get them or can you put a kit in them,
Also is there any reason not to put a union between valve and tank for easier access?
Thanks
Chris

Chris,  If you need these PP Valves I have a pair of genuine brand new Haldex 90555399 valves.  I bought two and it was two pkgs of two.

$40 and I will pay shipping.  Send me a PM.

Unions are three joints, worst case scenario is three Chinese joints, from the big box stores. I have had no luck with these. Customer service would not refund me because they could not resell the defective union because it had too much pipe dope on it. Go figure.

David's ebay valves are not Haldex brand if that makes any difference to you.  These are the spares I have, front side and back.

David's ebay valves also do not list opening and closing pressures.  It is very important to use protection valves rated for the correct operating pressure, which in this case should be around 65 psi.
