I don't want to open the discussion on whether these are a nuisance or nice. I know many campers do not like them; however. They are dimmable and I am a courteous user. They actually produce less light pollution than our porch lights.
These are M4 Products Underbelly LED Puck Lights Kit. The spread variation is from being parked on uneven ground and the leveling system is not on.
I also changed all the ThinLights from fluorescent to LED. Simply remove the ballast out of loop, wire back together and put in M4 Products tube light retrofit T8 designed specifically for RV applications. I had already switched all the make up bulbs, and PO did the puck lights inside. So we are almost totally converted to LED except for pathway bulbs and the basement fixtures. They have choices in color spectrum. I happen to still prefer the warm white.
I'm interested, can't seen to find them on their web site.

this is the tube LED my ThinLights took.

I posted last year on my underbelly lights led but I used the waterproof strips mounted in an aluminum channel so get a continuous stream of light in a soft blue colour. One on each side about 13 feet long. Non intrusive.

I have replaced some of my fluorescent bulbs with LED bulbs. It is a simple matter to eliminate the ballast and rewire the fixture. I felt that M4 was a little too pricey for my taste, at about $25/ bulb. I found a supplier on eBay that sold a four pack for UNDER $50. I ordered from yourledworld2014. Originally, I made a mistake and ordered bulbs for 120v fixtures. Delivery was prompt and very professional. I was very upset with myself, and immediately contacted the seller. He was VERY helpful, and we corrected the problem without a hiccup. I just ordered two more 4 packs from him. I recommend this supplier to you all. Why pay twice as much for bulbs that are made in China and probably come from the same factory??
Glenn, are your new bulbs variable voltage or only 12dc?
if you go to their eBay site, the specs are listed. I believe they are referred to as 12 to 30 v ??
Don't think the M4 are in the same league but I might be mistaken. They look like a quality product. You do get what you pay for most of the time. Not saying you made a bad deal though. I will buy some of their florescent replacement bulbs and test them out vs what I have now in the future.
I replaced all of my florescent overheads with LED conversion bulbs from M4. It's been two years and all is well.
Mine seem to work fine. I liked them enough to buy 8 more from the same supplier. He is very helpful. Took about ten days to get them. I am in the process of changing out the other fixtures in my coach, as we speak. simple rewiring. RV Geeks on You Tube have a video, if you need instruction. I don't know what I'll do with the curved bulbs. I bet they are made in the same factory in China as yours!!!
