Found these one year old takeout Flexsteel Seats (first picture) to replace my 20 yr old Flexsteel seats (2nd and 3rd picture) to new Flexsteel Seats. Has anyone done this and did the base fit or did you have to modify?
Good looking seats. We recently visited a Flexsteel showroom and were told that the new seats would fit the pedestals in our 2000 U320 and that we could also use the original controls. If you don't want them, let me know where I can find them.
Thank you Sven, the Flexsteel dealer said the same, and if not he will have an adapter plate, if the holes do not match. I will know when I get them off and will post the measurements. Last night I posted on Craigslist along with the sofa that is like new. I will post on the forum for sale. If they do not sell in 3 weeks I will give you a call. I have them in Eugene, have had luck with uShip for about $150 to CA. from here piggybacked with another shipment to that area. I will message you in a few weeks, or sooner if they sold.
I think you misunderstood me about the seats. Like you, I'm looking for newer seats to replace my (nearly)20 year old seats.
Got it, wishful thinking on my part. Reminds me of when I was confused at the restaurants restrooms, marked "Them" and "Us", I stood there for many seconds. lol. "If you don't want them, let me know where I can find them".
Sven and Kristi, Yes, they bolt right in. I just did the switch, very simple, four, half inch nuts and bolts to power pedestal. Just took a few minutes to both remove and install. The old seats sold off Craigslist in just one day. I prefer the new seats since I now have a dinette, sofa, and captains chairs that all match.
This is where I purchased all three take outs from new Newmar rvs. My experience with these retailers has been excellent.
