Title: Step Renovation
Post by: jhardman on August 08, 2018, 06:12:31 pm
Stainless steel step, adds 4lbs, refreshed fiberglass, added weep holes, stainless steel hardware, antiskip sandpaper....think it turned out nice!

MOT reattached it for me and put the anti skid paper on while we were there for annual service. Ran out of time before a trip.

It will outlive the coach now.  That's the way they should have built it in the 1st place.  I did almost the same thing when mine rotted out a few years ago but used aluminum plate, maybe 3/16" or 1/4" thick.  Took the old step to a fab shop and they copied it for a couple hundred $.  Non-skid tape was added after the picture was taken.
