Title: Looking to buy
Post by: DavidLinda on August 24, 2018, 01:48:37 pm
Looking to buy a U320 in a 36 ft or a 38 ft with no tag axle that's in very good condition with one or two slides.

Would prefer tile or hard wood floors.
 Year made 2002 thru 2005.
 Booth style dinette.
 Ceiling fan in bed room.
 Washer dryer combo.
 Prefer all leather.
 Low mileage would be great.
 Budget is under 130K.

We would appreciate any help.

Because this will require some discussion, I have moved it from Classified.

After zeroing in on the OP's "short list", will be glad to move it back.

We met David and Linda on our last trip (this past April) over to east TX.  We stayed at a nice little RV park in Texarkana (TX) and they were our very pleasant next door neighbors.  I was so impressed with their beautiful Airstream coach that I took a few snaps.  I'm sure you will agree it is (was?) a great looking classic!

While we were chatting, they expressed some interest in possibly considering a Foretravel sometime in their future, so naturally I turned them on to the Forum.  They joined up the next day!  I'm glad to hear that they are still interested in finding a U320.  I know, if we can help them get into the right coach, that they will bring some valuable RV experience to our group.

David & Linda,
Welcome to foreforums.
You probably already know about MOT.
Looks like they don't have any 02-05 /36-38 right now but you may want to call them and get in to their list. If they get what you looking for they will call you before it makes to their web site.
Good luck
BTW nice Airstream  ^.^d

We (translated I) have decided we want a tag.  (All Rhonda cares about is electric window shades.)  Ours is a 40' non-tag.  We have had a 36' Grandvilla and a 36' U295.  We've also had a 40' U280 and now this 40' U320 for about 6 years.  I can't tell an appreciable difference in parking.  If the right replacement came along with a tag ours would be for sale.  We wouldn't go back to a 36' but might go to a 42'.

One will call your name.

Rhonda, electric side window shades can be problematic. Manual MCD dual shades work great and are much preferred than electric. Glitz and fancy is not going to move you safely from on place to another. Simplicity will give you years of fun and satisfaction.
