I still am having problems attaching photos to my posts. I am in the process of repairing a broken corian stove top cover, and would like to share the fix with you all. I selected pictures, pressed " open" , watched the percentage bar go to " 100% ", uploaded another photo, again to 100%. It said it was 2.56 MB of jpg, which seems to fit the criteria ??!! When I pressed " preview, only the text appeared. Why aren't my photos showing up?
Is there a way for me to post replies to the forum, with picture attachments, from my iphone? Maybe that would be a better method. I do this when I sell stuff on Craigslist or ebay.
Thanks
Go to reply, then go down to attachments/ photos then to choose files open your photos and select the ones you want. It will not accept a whole bunch or videos directly.
Sounds like you are doing everything correctly. The uploaded photos
do not appear in the "preview" presentation. They
will appear when you do actually post the post (ha, ha). Give it a try!
After you see your post (with photos) in the thread, if you are not happy with some of them, use the "Modify" button in the lower right corner of post to go back to the "editing" frame. There you can remove a photo by simply "unchecking" it. Or add another photo, if desired. Then click on "Save" to see the result of your changes in the actual thread.
I use, http://photoposting.is-great.net/?i=2 for posting photos. Just upload your photo then copy and paste.
Like Chuck said.....
Photos don't appear in "preview"
Just after you actually "post" them.
If you upload your photos to an external site and the paste the link into your message they will, appear as long as that site and the URL address are valid. I did that for a short while until most of the pictures in my posts went away because the Link address was no loonger valid.
You can upload your pictures to an album on the Forum in the media section and then link from the album to put pictures in you post.
Otherwise, if you are replying just drag and drop the pictures you want to include in the post.
Easy to do on an iPad
