Anyone got a clue what year, model? By the window layout, it looks to be a 36'. I recall a post that said she was rare. I'm going to make a offer next week and want to see what others would sell for. This one, a few of you know, has sat in the Ajo sun, waay too long. I know it needs tires, batteries and fresh roof air units. I'd be wondering about the air bags, hoses, etc, also. I'm hoping she has some paperwork, but not counting on it. Thanks, M
Looks better then the crankyape one, tell them to pull the awnings down, will help with the sun.
looks to me like a 40' 1993 gv 40's and 36's have the same amount of windows i think
I'd say 40 footer - has the same curb-side cargo bay doors as our GV. Small front nose access hatches, so pre-1995? Same DOT lights above the windshield as our coach, same Hadleys and spot light...might be a '93 or '94 U280.
Compare it to the beautiful '95 U280 for sale in our classified section for $32,000 (or make an offer). WITH A RETARDER! If I was looking for a U280, I would be all over that one. But I'm not... :'(
1995 40 ft U280 for Sale, in AZ ,000 (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=35004.msg326668;topicseen#new)
No, no, no! It's a 36 foot U300 with a 6V-92TA from '93 or '94 with the horizontal side radiator, not the vertical side radiator of '92. So it has two fans, not the single fan. Easy to tell about the engine as it has the 5 inch chrome exhaust no other coach has to let out all the exhaust the Detroit produces. '95 had the recessed ICC lights, large engine access door and the large front access. They would have CATs or perhaps a M11 so no 5 inch exhaust. My photo is from January of 2015 when I did an outside inspection, also another in 2016. This is the same coach we have.
It does have that extra door right behind the entry. Hmmm, perhaps I should have had a tape with me to check the length.
Probably the best coach ever made plus it has a Jake. :) I'll have crow pie waiting in Q. :D :D :D If it's a 40 footer, I may be eating all the pie.

Sure looks a lot like our '93 40' U300.
Maybe someone has an older Motorcade directory and can look up the membership number, 11272, and can tell us for sure exactly what it is.
Stopped in Ajo last winter trying to locate Mike L and looked at that coach, it is a 40 footer with a 6/92 . It's not bad but does show signs of the Az sun, tires for sure and bags.

Wrong grille for a 95
Be down for the fall/winter next week, We stay at 'Shadow Ridge RV Resort' We're on 'Motor Home Row' #5. Stop by! ^.^d
One of our good buddy members found out who the PO was and sent it to me. No info on exactly what the coach is, but I have his phone # and will call him today! ^.^d
I checked the phone # out, nada, same with a search in the directory. Anyone live in Clovis, NM? Actually, the white paint is not too bad; if it is a 40 footer, my buddy in Phoenix would prolly charge 4k to 'strip & stripe'. He has the stripes & wording in his computer from FT, when he did ours for $ 3,300.00. I found nothing on RV Trader, will keep looking at other sites.
Mike,
Ya, the info I forwarded to you was, as I mentioned from the 2002 Motorcade directory.
No idea of that guy still owns it or sold it 10 years ago.
If you have a friend in the law enforcement community, he may be able to run the license tags for you.
If at an owner's house, you can look up properly records.
Sleuth time!
After looking at the pics of the other coach that just sold at auction, I'm getting a better grip about what I should offer for the 'orphan'. The coach I'm looking at has a straight body, the other one looked trashed in a couple of spots, but the 'to do' list is still long on her!
The under doors say 40 foot. My 36 does not have the small door next to the entry. Mine is a 94 with same bumper and same dual access doors below the windshield.
