We just left our wonderful camp on Swanlake, Maine to begin our winter journey. Unfortunately, I have already encountered a few problems. The most urgent one is that I have no power to my Micrphor commode. I called them and John walked me thru a test of the switch. We have power to the unit and power to the switch. The switch works. The toilet worked fine camping, a few weeks ago. Now....nothing. No water thru the solenoid. No flapper. I don't know why FT put in electric toilets. I just need to get this one working. We are headed to MOT mid October, but sure would like a working toilet before then.
Second biggest issue.... when I turn on my Diesel switch for the Aqua Hot, it lights up for a minute, then goes out. I don't hear her " fire up ". Again, it worked fine a few weeks ago, and I had it serviced last January at Quartzite by John.
Not a happy camper.

Sue was always helpful to me.
Sue passed away a year or so. New girl is helpful, but not as knowledgeable.
Have you checked the fuse for the microphor? Should be visible when you lift the cover. Make sure all the connections are good. I've had some problems with the terminations, had to crimp new ends on some wires. If the wiring checks out OK then I would suspect the potted module.

Call Rudy Leggett and let him guide you through troubleshooting the A-H. There are lots of potential causes.
As I said, I called Mullaney, and spoke with John for a long time. I sent him a picture of my setup, which is a remote setup, with the switch and water level control on the vanity. There is NO apparent fuse or circuit breaker, and as I said, I have power at the unit and at the switch. John's last suggestion was that I pull the commode and try and " hot wire" the motor. We are on the road, and have to make it to Dallas for a wedding, so I don't know what I'll be able to do
Could use a telephone number regarding the AH, please
Thanks for the response
Glenn, sent you a PM
Larry
Rudy is great and I finally pulled my electric toilet for a manual one. I would consider doing that as well. You have a straight drop in 01 so no issues.
how do I get in touch with Rudy
oops, got it
thanks
Glenn i sent you the number in a personal message.
Glenn,
Allowing the Aqua Hot Webesto burner to sit for long periods allows the diesel on the nozzle to congeal. The long period you mentioned has your new nozzle plugged.
Solution is burner service which includes a new nozzle. Once seviced, run the burner once per month through one heating cycle, always. The burner will go 1, 2, maybe 3 years before needing service again.
I can be reached from 8 to 8 central time at 7 one 3. 8 one 8. 3234.
Hope this helps
Rudy gave me the same advice a month ago. Bought the parts from Roger Berke. Great advice, great service and the aqua hot runs like new. Including learning curve, I don't think that I had 3 hrs involved.
Thanks again to Rudy and Roger.
Larry
Microphor fuse: I lost power to my toilet just yesterday!!! Found fuse #6 blown under front of bed...top dc fuse box. Not labeled toilet, but closet lights, map light, entrance light are all on this fuse. Turned out passenger map light shorted internally blowing fuse. Hope that helps. Woody.
I'll change out the nozzle and hope that fixes the problem. Have wanted to learn how to service the AH, myself, since I bought the coach. Guess I've put it off long enough. Just had it serviced last January!!!! Bummer. Will be SURE to run the AH while in storage, from now on.
I had checked the fuse at the bed, first thing. May not have pulled number 6, though. Will do.could never find a circuit breaker at the toilet. Pulled the toilet tonite, to try and troubleshoot motor and limit switch. Lovely job.
Glenn, go to the aqua hot website and get the service manual PDF for your model. It had exploded diagrams of the systems involved which helps immensely. My model had excellent pictures, diagrams and details on removal, repair, troubleshooting etc.
Larry
Larry or Rudy,
where can I find model number of AH??
When I removed the outside cover revealing the burners, valves, solenoids, there was a plate installed from the factory on the lower right hand side. It had the model # and serial # hand scratched into the plate. It was difficult to read, but once I got the flashlight at the right angle, it was reasonably legible. I then went to aqua hot manual list and matched the model #'s.
Larry
Glenn, What Larry said. If you need more help, call me.
UPDATE......
First. My AH is a AHE-101-000, similar to a AHE 100-025 Serial # 00-582. I will look at what you suggested, using that information.
Second....After quite a lot of texts with John Mullaney, over the weekend, BUT especially with the terrific help from Bob Rozek, and after many, many phone conversations with him, I am happy to report that we have the toilet functioning now....WOW. The problem seems to be that the timer unit, which in my case is remote, under a cabinet behind the commode, needs to be replaced. With the help of Bob, I was able to determine that I had power to the timer and to the control switch, but nothing happened when I pressed the button. I had to pull the commode, to get to the motor and the limit ( micro ) switch. We jumped some wires to the motor, the limit switch, the control switch and the solenoid that controls the water flow, and .....IT WORKS!!!! I will be ordering a newer version of the timer, and hopefully, get another 17 years out of it. We shall see. I still want to raise the commode a couple of inches, to save my knees, and now that I am a Microflush repairman, I'm sure it will be a no brainer.
Congrats Glenn. You are now a Turbo-Turd expert. ^.^d
Ain't life grand?
I remember having to order the switch on our '97 U320. No switchy, no flushie! We had the same problems with our AH. It would run through the startup cycle and then shut back down! Good luck as they can be challenging!
I just got done replacing the nozzle on the AH. This was my VERY FIRST TIME doing it myself. Fired right up!! Not nearly as bad as I anticipated, although not too easy!??
THANKS RUDY!!! You were a great help . Learned a lot from you. More importantly, you gave me the confidence to do this now and in the future.
I also just got a new, VERY overpriced timing swich and wiring for the Microphor toilet. Now I get to rewire/ pull toilet all over again. Practice makes perfect.
Go Glenn. 👍
Glenn, next years service will be a breeze ^.^d
