Steve and Sandy Burda will be there, too.
I think there are about 85 coaches on the registration list and I recognize quite a few names that I have seen on this forum.

Newbie question......who is sponsoring the Grandvention?  FMCA?  FT?

Motorcade event (through Foretravel.).  We have only made a few events in the past but enjoyed them very much and met wonderful people.

Teresa and I plan on being there as well as the Mid-South Rally in Hot Springs AR the week before. Always enjoy visiting with old friends and making new ones.

We are finally going to be on the road again.  Got in under the wire and looking forward to it!

Right now I'd be more concerned with creeks rising than a Creek uprising.

Bill, you should capitalize the word Creeks in your saying. The saying originated in colonial days and actually referred to the Creek Indian nation possibly going on the warpath against the colonists.

Thanks for that clarification. I learn something new every day. Especially on our forum.

There is not clarity on this Creek or creek issue at all.
World Wide Words: God willing and the creek don't rise (http://www.worldwidewords.org/qa/qa-god1.htm)
At the time Benjamin Hawkins apparently first wrote this all nouns were capitalized.  It is often attributed tomthe Creek Indian Nation becuse of his postion in government and relation to the tribe.  But it is also close to "come hell or high water" in meaning.

Not capitalized is the most common use unless you are quoting the original.

We were planning on the GV this year but a long delayed home project is now scheduled for the same time.  Many friends there that we will miss seeing.

Ed,

No schedule except for the first day.  You just need to know: 0930-1330 Parking.  1400-1500 Registration. 1515 Opening Ceremonies.  Also included a list of attendees.  You were not on it as of the time it was mailed.
