monday noonish. Boulder CO.. went to get gas, fill up tires and take the 86 GV out for a spin... after fill up .. said what the hell.. took i-70 west to -40 and over Berthoud Pass ( 11,500) for the first time. No temp issues, no trans issues.. just nice and slow about 35mph with my gas front engine coach... my plans are to come back to Boulder with a trip this afternoon on Trail Ridge Dr. ( 12,500) in Rocky Mountain Natl Park... during the day time, got too late yesterday afternoon to tak this first time RV trip to that altitude.
Used Campendium APP to find the ST Louis Campground near Fraser CO ( Winter Park).. what a great small. ( 17 spaces) No. water or Electric. Just 3 pull along campers and one motorcycle duo with a on the ground tent... temps overnight were 37-39
