My 29 year old coach has lots of woodwork. How to make it look fantastic and brand new looking, many of our members advised me to use Howard s feed-n-wax, you may have to call around a bit in your home town to find it, Ace had it in my town. I started out early one evening using this howards product, and the more treatment I did, the more i wanted to do. Finally quite about 3 am, got up 3 hours later and drug my butt to work. there are couple of master guru woodworking artisans on this forum that do extraordinary finishes, based of their own formulas that are superior to howards.
I have been a woodworker for more than 50 years. Howard Feed n Wax Amazon.com: Howard FW0016 Feed-N-Wax Wood Polish and Conditioner, Beeswax &... (https://www.amazon.com/Howard-FW0016-Feed-N-Wax-Conditioner-16-Ounce/dp/B001BKQYGW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1538794858&sr=8-3&keywords=howards+feed-n-wax)
It is a cleaner and wax. Use sparingly, let it sit for a while, wipe/polish dry. It does a great job in our coaches.
Furniture and cabinetry I build has a finish that starts with an alcohol based dye, several layers of a catalyzed oil and where appropriate for wear and durability, several coats of wipe-on oil based polyurethane. I like bees wax for a final finish.
Lacquer finishes are nice too but they are somewhat dangerous to your health.
Thanks Roger, master guru woodworking artisans on this forum that do extraordinary finishes, based of their own formulas. I am not really good at carefully chosen words. I'm working on it. ^.^d
I like it, a lot. DW has a very acute sense of smell and hates noxious fumes, this stuff smells great!
