Title: Slide Bladder relacement
Post by: Dave Dunington on October 12, 2018, 02:03:24 pm
I am in the Western States, Spokane area, and need to have my slide bladder replaced. I called Quality Coach, they are wanting around $4200.00 labor, and the coach for one week..... Anyone had a good experience getting the bladder replaced ? A western state location would be easier for me ...

Thanks
Dave

Call RnR, but they will keep it forever.Good luck getting a quote out of them. But I would try.
I believe on a 01, the slide has to come out. Did a few as a FT tech

Had it done at HWH last May. Pinhole leak. I could see the leak, but nothing worked to " patch " it. Thirteen hours labor. Had to take it out. We slept in the coach, in the shop. BIG mistake. They have all night shifts....LOTS of lights and NOISE. Didn't want to get a motel....had the pooch, etc. Wouldn't do THAT again. Total cost was $3415, which included some time screwing with my aux compressor. Welcome to the " club ".

HWH is a great place to get work down - historically they are low priced on parts, their labor rate is $80 per hour as I remember, and they seem to bill about 50% of the hours actually worked -

a drive from Spokane, but might be worth it
