Title: Entry door and bay door fob
Post by: John Haygarth on October 14, 2018, 08:56:45 pm
Looks like mine have given up  and not the battery. I have cleaned them many times over the years to get them working each time but looks like a new one is needed. Pt # on inside is 302 7097 002 and I have looked at back posts and it seems like a dead end. Any ideas guys (and girls)? ?JohnH

Looks like others have just change the whole thing out.

I replaced the whole thing.  First time I got it to work since we owned the coach.  First I had to replace all the actuators.  The brain and two fobs were only about $60.  Pretty easy replacement.

Just emailed that company (thanks Mike & Pamela) so will wait to see what transpires.
Thanks also to Rich and Crane man for their input. I have also contacted FT to see what they say. My system works it is just the fobs that now are not and have taken them apart many times to try and get them working. Cleaned the pads and contacts a few times and they work for 5 mins then do not. Driving me crazy.

I have been emailing with the company that Mike and Pam mentioned and they have a clone of our fobs that he said is gauranteed to work. I am sending the copy of the schematic from the FT manual just to check with. FT said they do not have them.
Chris the tech assures me that it will work. I will be ordering one in the morning after he looks at the print I will send.

Well I have dealt with Keyless Entry Remotes, Car Remote Replacements, Key Fobs, Keys (http://www.remotesandkeys.com) and Chris there has been great to deal with.  I ordered a cloned fob and received it at the weekend then did the synchronizing of the wireless signal and it works great. I also reprogrammed my other 2 original fobs and they work better  but not all the time due to contacts I guess.
There was just one change in the new fob in that it works to open door and bay doors at same time which  I am not too happy with but at least it all works.  I told Chris about this and my original comment to them about the 1 press for door and 2 for bay doors. It seems he thought they could not do this  but after talking to one of the techs it seems they CAN programme this I to the new fob so they are cloning a new one for me as we speak and I will keep the one I have as a spare as it does open and close doors at least.
They cost $38 and well worth it to me even though my Canadian cost is $54.
Thank you Mike and Pamela for the lead.
Once I get the new  I will post how it works.
The model # of mine is 4687E-MH and is called a Winnebago-Itasca keyless entry which will be the same for all of us with this system, just make sure you send an email to Chris right away to programme it as needed before shipping. You can call him at 386-586-3650 too.

Sounds great John.  If your new one works I'll sure want to get one...or two.
