Title: Hydraulic Ari Struts Update
Post by: GleamB on October 23, 2018, 09:42:11 am
About a month ago, Barry& Cindy posted a link to Hatchlift Products, HatchLift | Hydraulic Lift Kits | Rv Hatch Lifts | Hatch Hinges (http://www.hatchlift.com). I added that I, also, had a very good experience with the company. The owner, Garry, was more than helpful in figuring out the struts needed when I upgraded my trailer to a real queen size mattress. I have some prices he is offering to Foretravel owners, to replace the 7" units we seem to  " eat up " in our overhead cabinets. Retail $10.99
                                      Foretravel owners $8.79
                                      Volume discount  6 or more  $8.25  303-901-8150
He has other sizes for the bed/ basement etc.

If you install them with the rod facing up, they don't last long as the seals dry up. They are meant to be installed rod end down to keep oil on the seal. Since I started doing that they are not leaking any more.  Only time will tell if this is a very long cure.
