In trying to respond to some comments in the thread I started (Oh Oh Coolant in the Oil) my keyboard locked up. Poking around with just the track pad I inadvertently deleted the whole thread >:D . If you can would you please restore that topic and I'll finish the thought that I was in when the my laptop froze.
Thanks
Bill
I don't think it is recoverable. If we remove it then it is in the logs but you remove it and I did not see anything
I see the removed thread but it is grayed out and I can not restore it. Sorry.
I wonder if he went to his profile and selected drafts if some part of the "lost" post might be there?
OK. Thanks for trying. It was very much my fault. I've got to poke around in Win10 and figure out how to reduce the sensitivity of the track pad. This is not the first time I've had a problem with it, but is certainly the worst. I guess I'll also have to try to debug this first-time keyboard lock-up which required a reboot to fix.
>nitehawk: it wasn't just my post but the whole topic/thread.
But did you check your profile/drafts?
This dumbass here on this end has inadvertently somehow blanked the post I was typing and I later would find part of it had been saved in my profile/drafts.
Yes, but that was just a POST. I might be able to do that, except it would be totally out of context with all the prior posts that I was responding to gone. I wiped out the entire THREAD/TOPIC with 6-8 posts.
