Announced yesterday
Lazydays to Acquire Tennessee RV Supercenter | RV Business (http://www.rvbusiness.com/2018/10/lazydays-to-acquire-tennessee-rv-supercenter/)
For those of us who use TN RV, not sure this is good news. No word on the service department.

Such a sad fate for the old Kodak store.
It's common when the big boxes take over.
Is this the one that was located at the I-40 exit to Sevierville? They use to be a Foretravel service center and we used them when in and around the TN area! If so, sad indeed. Between Lazydays and CW, there won't be many left out there to pick from!
Ouch! Been to the Tampa location and it is huge! Their sales employees are geared to upsell on everything they can, promise you the world and deliver nothing! We looked at a '06 Foretravel there last year and when asked about the grease on the carpet in the bedroom, we were told this is the coach, take it or leave it! We left!
A sad affair, I remember Roger Sellers from Foretravel of Tennessee. I bought 3 of my Foretravels there. It was a real blessing to all Foretravel owners when he and his partner bought the business from Ray Fore and moved it down to Strawberry Plains. Ray had gotten crossways with the Sevier County authorities and that was the reason for that horrible access to Foretravel Drive from the 4 lane highway. Although since I no longer need to go there for service, I certainly had lots of very satisfactory encounters there as well as at Tennessee RV..
I wish him well!
Sad to hear this. Hope the service department doesn't change. James and his crew keep my coach on the road.
Bummer. We had the baseplate put on the MKT there this spring and were impressed. We like the area and I had thought that maybe someday it would happen that we could have the coach serviced there instead of Nac.
Yes it is. They moved from 407 down to Strawberry Plains Road.
I do appreciate all of the concern and well wishes being sent our way. I do feel that this will be a positive move for the company as now we will have more capitol and means to expand and improve our facility. I have not heard of any major changes yet and probably won't until after the first of the year. I am happy for Roger as it was time for him to step back a bit and enjoy his hobbies and have a bit of fun, he turned 60 in may and has a new grandson now to spend time with. Lazy days didn't acquire this operation because of hardship or failure, they were interested because we are successful. We are the only dealer in the country to earn the Top 50 award 10 years running. I doubt they plan to change what works. We are and as far as I am concerned, and still the service manager continue to service Foretravel coaches and take care of our customers as we always have. I think overall this will be a good change for us. Too early to tell at this point but, we take it one day at a time and continue doing as we have through the years. I know a couple of you have service appointments scheduled this next week and a couple into November. So I look forward to seeing you then! Thank you for your business and prayers.
James Holder
Service Manager
TN RV
Well, this is wonderful news. If James Holder is still there and still service manager, Foretravel's will get taken care of.
James I hope you are still allowed to do what is right as far as service goes. I have had some terrible service at the Tampa Lazydays. They tried to fix my dash air 6 times in a row and some of the failures were ridiculous.
Mark
Mark,
Why not go to Paul Yasbeck in Leesburg? Not LD!
Ed
James was instrumental in helping me with a pre-buy of a 2000 U320. The service center bent over backwards to do what ever was needed even though the sell fell through all the people in the service department were GREAT.
I have always figured that any time I was east of the Mississippi River they would be my go to place. It will still be as long as James and his crew works there.
Thanks again for all your help.
Ron
James, as long as you are running the service department I'll be happy to bring my business to you when I'm in the area. We really enjoyed our time in the Knoxville area earlier this year and look forward to a return visit some time.
To bad we can't clone someone like James and set him up in Arizona! b^.^d
It was under warranty at LD but I gave up after the sixth time. Now we are moving to the panhandle.
Mark
It was a pleasure to meet you last week James. Glad we will still have a place for maintenance within a days drive.
My friend James Holder is no longer with Lazy Daze. After 2 recent visits there for service I'd be surprised if any of the awesome, old FT crew would want to be at Lazy Daze.
James isn't sure if he will stay in the RV business but I expect he will always be a FT owner and enthusiast.
James and David at TN RV did amazing work on my FT for the 3 years I've had it.
Thought this might be a time to re-post
Maybe he can become a mobile mechanic or another coach inspector.

It is a sad day that the old Kodak store has fallen so far.
Well, scratch one more off the list of qualified service centers who went above and beyond to repair our coach's! Lazydudes will never get any of our money and that includes Corporate World as well! Ugh!
