Sorry but I'm so frustrated with this system, nothing but problems even after FOT replaced the bladder a few months ago.
I need to move from my site ASAP. I went to operate bladder key, the yellow lamp just keeps on blinking.
Checked Aux compressor, it was running, other pressures seem to be OK
Any help will be appreciated, I'm at a loss here and I need to move!
Is there a bypass i can use till i get back to FOT
Thanks, Paul
Update I let it sit for a bit, shut engine down, tried the 110/220 bypass switch i saw somewhere else on the forum, the light is still blinking, and I can't operate the slide.
Something to be said for no slides, that's for sure!
I'm really screwed here, i need to move for work, so I'm putting out my distress flare!
Thanks, Paul
Where are you? Perchance there is a 'Fred & Florence Nightingale' camped close by. ^.^d
One more, Is there a service hotline number that anyone knows about?
If so please let me know
I need to walk away, and gather myself, maybe a beer will help!
Thanks again, Paul
Sorry, I don't know who these folks are?
We're in Lake Eufaula, Oklahoma
I recently had this same problem. Compressor was running but not building up enough air to operate the vacuum generator for seal. I also had an air leak in one of the side regulators. Check the equipment bay for air leaks. If one or both of the regulators are leaking, turn off the air valve to the slide control to let the compressor build up pressure in the slide air tank. If/when the air compressor cycles off, turn on one slide air valve and close that slide. Repeat for other slides. Ultimate solution was to replace compressor and one regulator.
When I first had the coach I had a hose leak.
FOT has a 24/7 tech support line for Motorcade members.
A quick search found the following;
2003 Slide Seal Issue - Resolved (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=20409.msg148556#msg148556)
Good one, thanks, i'll need to check this!
Paul
Where would we find that number? I want to add it to my cell phone
Motorcader?
I think this is the number (936) 556-0398
It sounds like you are not getting a vacuum and I know there a a bypass for it but my year 01 did not require it. The bypass 110-20 is so the transmission will go I o gear not a bypass for he slide room.
Thanks I'm a motorcade member, once I called them, I had an answer in 5 minutes to bypass (jumper out the cable leading to the Pressure switch) (2 orange Wires) which allowed me to put the slide in, and travel down the road.
I double checked the perimeter of the slide with a flashlight to make sure it was completely deflated (as best I could).
So they said it's probably a bad pressure switch, Which should be an easy fix.
I guess I need to develop a list of bypass procedures, as I've need these a few times so far. Maybe a trip to Iowa is best direct to the Leveling system manufacturer. I've had travel mode issues, slide issues, aux compressor issues. This whole system needs to be evaluated and corrections made as I depend on this coach for my living.
Thanks all the input from everyone! I truly appreciate it.
Paul
Thanks I've has that issue too!
The Emergency line for the Motorcade club is (936) 556-0398
If compressor is not running, there is a 40amp compressor breaker.
