Have a Splendid Aristotle TVM63X dryer and it sounds like the bearing are gone. In doing searches to see if anything on this subject I have found a number of comments about how quiet the unit is. I know this one is not. Does anyone have ideas as to where to start besides first figuring out how to get the unit out of the closet and then what the problem might be with it.

Dick is right. The Splendide techs are very helpful. Luckily the dryer is much lighter than the washer. Should be an easy pull if needed.

Update, removal was easy, removed bottom plate of dryer, removed 4 screws on bracket and pulled unit forward and out. Not much to the dryer, very easy to take apart. Looks like noise was coming from the brass bearing in back and 4 bearing pads on the front. Pads on front are plastic that the drum slides on. Ordering parts today.
