Does anyone have any spare taillight lens or know where to find them. Factory parts wants to sell entire taillight assy.
Regards,
Mike Van Meter
Mike,
You're saying the factory parts dept has complete GV tail light assemblies? How much are they?
The lenses for those Isuzu light units are basically unobtainable, except from recycling yards. Very hard to find these days.
Try contacting the people mentioned in this recent thread. They are seemingly willing to remove parts and ship to buyers.

As I recall, it was about 260.00 for the assy. They will not sell just the lens. Thanks for the tip on craig's list.
FYI Learned the hard way when I got a rear light assembly on eBay, our right (GV) is the left tail light on an Isuzu, as Foretravel mounted them upside down and then swapped sides.
Mick
I have an assembly that has a good lens, but the guts are shot. I think it is for the right (navigator) side, but I don't remember. I'll dig it out and check in the morning.
TN RV got one for me.
The one I have is for the NAVIGATOR'S side. Sorry.
Could you take a picture of it and post it here. Sounds like FT may have mounted them upside down.
Thanks
Mike,
David knows how the lights are mounted on the GV - his coach has the same rear end design as yours.
Out of curiosity, what is the build number on your coach? Mine is 4359, and David's is 4371 - pretty close together.
Never mind - I see on your profile page your build number is 4351.
All three coaches are practically litter mates!
And...I think ours is part of that litter! When we bought ours three plus years ago, there were (and still are) some aftermarket taillights mounted on the rear bumper (LEDs, I believe). They work and the original ones don't, but it doesn't matter. One is for looks, the other is for function. It just looks like I am really serious about letting followers know when I am shifting lanes/turning corners and stopping.
I am away from the wee beasty at the moment but can share some pictures later.
The tail lights are KOITO 220-21340 They are Isuzu Impulse lights.84-88 Fore travel use the left for the right and the right for the left. The mounted them upside down! So If you need a DRIVERS SIDE light for the coach You Need a PASSENGER SIDE light from a Isuzu Impulse. I personally think have a good fiberglass shop fill and cover the hole . Cut new openings for LED Rubber Grommet Mount Lights either round or oblong. Andy2 Coach has had this done and it looks good
Which piece of the lens did you lose? I have a lens but the T/S yellow part is gone
That's the part I lost on the road.
Thanks
The yellow turn signal lens is notorious for falling out whilst you happily putt down the road. I was lucky - caught mine while it was becoming loose but hadn't yet departed. Several years ago, I wrote up a little tutorial on cleaning up and maximizing the output of the archaic Isuzu unit. Post linked below deals with how I was able to secure the loose lens. GV owners should check their lens condition regularly. My post doesn't help if your lens is already gone, of course...sorry.
