I need to recalibrate my HWH leveling system. When I push the auto level button the HWH system levels the system where no yellow lights are showing, but the coach is not level. When I fine tune the level with a 2.5ft spirit level, the HWH shows at least one yellow light. If I turn off the ignition key without pushing the HWH level button a second time, inevitably the coach will drift out of level after a period off time. I believe I can recalibrate the HWH leveling system by adjusting the the two items shown in the picture. Not sure whether the nut adjusts the side to side or the front to back; same for the screw head. Any instruction would be appreciated.
Unless HWH made a change from mine that is not where to adjust. Mine is under a drawer and is round.
The leveling sensor is under the kitchen drawers up until sometime in 2001 (after my coach was built). After that the level sensor was built into the control box.
The earlier ones use one of three screws to tweak level. The later ones use a nut and a screw. Getting it perfect in either case is challenging. Mine is not. I manually set level and the leave the system in manual adjust mode and shut the pump off. I make a small adjustment in a couple days and we are good for a week or two,

My 97 U295 40 was mounted on the sub floor, under the refrigerator, with new residential, I moved it under my booth seat next to the refrigerator, older 3 screw variety.
My 2002 (built in Aug 2001) has the sensor under the kitchen drawers.

So when you all say under the drawers are you saying it's mounted to the sub-floor under the drawers. In my coach I have 2 drawers under my fridge.

Well they are where ever FT put them. Ours is under the kitchen drawers under the cook top. HWH switched in late 2001. It may have taken FT a while to switch until their inventory was gone. Silver cake pan looking box on the ceiling of your bay or clear plastic box? Earlier or later.
It will be under the bottom drawer next to the couch on yours same as mine.
HWH level has a wide range of acceptance to eliminate hunting caused by adjusting side-to-side causing front-to-back to go out of level, etc.
We let HWH auto level than put RV EZ Level on floor and manually adjust. Works very well with low side flashing. Great tool.

I can't remember how to adjust that sensor, but think there are instructions from hwh about how to do it. It is very tricky and I had a harness made with a control panel that I would plug into the box and then I could see when I had moved the adjuster to far one way or the other

On my 95 U320 40' its under the sofa just behind the drivers seat.
Some of us are fussier than others. My goal is to protect the refrigerator and then have the coach liveable. So the HWH auto level is fine for me. Some people can't stand if the toilet door moves after auto leveling. For them, Barry's approach seems to be the best.
The parameters for the auto level let mine be dead on sometimes and needing manual tuning others. All the yellow lights are out either way.
I have the ULine Icemaker there. We will have to go on a search. Thanks!

I forgot our length differences. Bottom kitchen drawer at the sink?
We are only 4 build numbers apart.
Mine is in the basement on the ceiling. New style.
John
Mine is under the bottom drawer of the desk!

Just goes to show you, as similar as our coaches are there are lots of variations. The one with three screws is very sensitive. Make a tiny adjustment maybe 1/8 of a turn, then adjust manually side to side and front to rear and then back to level with your tool. and see how you did. Adjusting the screws till the light changes is almost always too much.
If you have an iPhone the surface level is nice. All green is level in all directions. Android phones might have something similar.
Answering OP original question, the screw adjusts left/right and the nut adjusts front back. Refer to the instructions @ beamalarm.com. In this case the level sensor is in the control box.
