Pulled the handle in the side compartment and nothing happened. Seems that it's disconnected at the door end? Can't get under it at the moment (see pic) so I was wondering has anyone any ideas/experience on fixing it?
Thanks in advance.
Keith
Did it malfunction after the snow, could be frozen.
Try pulling on the door while someone else is pulling the release.
First of all, you are too far north.
If the cable is actually disconnected I believe you will need to lay on your back in the snow, reach up with a tool of some sort, and pull on the cables to the actual latches., or the latches themselves if those cables are disconnected.
Thanks everyone. Tried the door pulling. Not frozen. Will get under the front when the snow melts this weekend.

Hey, Keith! I experienced a cable failure on my "sister" coach a couple of summers back in Omaha. (The water pump belt failed.) The main cable pulled out from the base where the individual little cables tug on the latches.
I'll send photos of mine and prayers tomorrow. Paul
Could it be that with that much ice the rubber seals have stuck to the door. I would use a heat gun around the perimeter, carefully, then try the cable again.

Keith, We experienced same problem, per Foretravel tech take a 6" 2x4 lay flat on door under the latch mechanism take a hammer and lightly tap on the 2x4 to push the locking mechanism up then the door should open. It will probably only move 1/4 to 3/8 inch
Hope this helps
good luck
Chris
