Looking for some info on DYI Garage for RVs in the Denver area, I read something a while back that rv owners wishing to work on their rigs could rent space and do the work needed.
Was I dreaming this?😁 or would anyone have insight to where I could look to find such a heavenly place?
P.S. I live in a townhouse complex and it's not allowed to do mechanical work outside of your garage. Just can't fit my Grand Villa in a two car garage.
Thanks Bob
Bob,
This might be the one you remember reading about (Reply #8):
A place for do-it-yourself mechanical work in So Cal (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=23742.msg185482#msg185482)
If Grand Junction is too far to drive, you might ask around at some of the small airports in that area. In some cases, you may find unused hanger space that can be rented on the cheap. Was that way here 30 years ago, but then we turned into a "big city", with all the drawbacks.
Look around CL for storage spots. Make a deal .
Let us know what you find... did not know there was another 86 in the denver area... we are in Boulder with a FEG ( 454) 86 GV 33' SB with a tag axle... pretty cool we think.. we have used and will use when necessary Keeter Truck Repair shop in Boulder... we are not a DIY owner.. but based on future improvements and mechanical needs we might reconsider... send pics if you can of your coach...
Thank you Chuck & Jeannie! That was the article, I just couldn't remember where I read it.
