I am enroute to Texas from Michigan . glass dash warning buss is driving me insane! Anyone know what I can do to make it go away ? The flashing says antenna not retracted. I have no use of antenna as Dish was my weapon of choice. Our coach is an 02 U320 pulling a 2 car trailer.
Sounds like either the magnetic antenna switch has went bad or the magnetic that activates the switch has been eaten by a tree limb. If the crank up antenna has been removed then there is a problem with the wiring that was left that gives feedback to the dash annunciator system. These switches are not anything special and can be found at some hardware stores, electronic store, or off the net.
You can use a piece of cotton ball and tape over the buzzer (that is hid under the dash) till you can get time to check out the antenna area.

If the cotton ball buffer is insufficient, disable the enunciator, yes that is what it is called, by cutting the wire. Reattaching it after fault is corrected.
close...actually it is the "
annunciator" or as I like to call it, the "IRRITATOR". 8)
You should find the offending noise maker towards the left side of the under-dash space. Mine (on a 2001) ir black and round, about 1-1/4" in diameter. Mine has a top that rotates to open or close the voles in the top to reduce noise. Cut the red wire (either actually) to disable. Add a switch to turn it on or off at will. With the annunciator off there is no turn signal beeper. There is a work-around for that.
Make sure your antenna is down completely. A bad sensor is not uncommon.
Duct tape over the sensor works great
What is the workaround? Thanks.

Just go on the roof, tie the 2 ant sensor wires together.
I use scotch tape over mine, it muffles it just enough. I also installed a switch, scares the cat when building air at 1st start.
