A couple of years ago the dash annunciator was driving me crazy so I cut the wire. Later I was installing a little switch so I could turn it on/off but I pulled the little wire right out of the dash warning light circuit board. Big deal! Who even needs that annoying beep? I'm a gauge watcher so I wasn't really worried about missing an error notification and I would certainly remember to turn my blinker off when appropriate. A little too cocky as it turned out in that I have caught myself several times having left the blinker on.
Anyhow, the recent thread in which Roger described how to install a standalone beeper inspired me and I am now rebeepified. I bought a beeper and wired it into the T1 & T2 wires off the steering plug (with a couple of diodes). The first photo is looking straight down into about the middle of the dash. Those are the two wires (green & yellow). The second shows where I mounted my beeper. I put it in the console area which quiets it a bit. Back in business!

I didn't want to hear the chime, so I did the opposite. Pulled yellow/black & green/black (which are T18 & T28) off the back of the warning center. This muted the chime when the signals are on, but I also lost the indicators. They are so low you can't see them anyway!
I purchased two new LED indicators off Ebay, took 20 minutes to install. Cost me less then 13 bucks
Here is the out come. I am tickled pink (or green). No more ding, ding, ding at the stop light, and yet I can clearly see the indicators.

Don't you just love these little projects? Something you want to do, an idea or two, a point in the right direction and it gets done. And here two different approaches to get job done. Nice job to both of you!

We must have missed the original thread about the noisy blinker, and the subsequent remedies, which apparently had people cutting wires or installing new beepers.....
Our solution was incredibly simple:
1. get an eye makeup remover pad (https://www.amazon.com/Swisspers-Cotton-Rounds-100-Count/dp/B00EKY7KAA/ref=sr_1_17_s_it?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1544986971&sr=1-17&keywords=swisspers) and some tape
2. place eye makeup remover pad on round beepy box
3. use the tape to secure eye makeup remover pad to the round beepy box
Result: SUPER MUFFLED original blinker sounds!! It was one of our very first "modifications" ever done to the coach. haha....
Great idea...But personally I wanted to HEAR the beeper with any issue's like trans over temp, engine over temp, shut down engine,loss of oil pressure, air issue's,etc. I have a switch to turn the beeper off. I also have tape partially over it which made it tolerable, but it is now removed.
Even though I am a gauge watcher, too easy to get mesmerized by the road do to the sweet ride and forget to look.Only takes a second to trash an engine or tyranny, just sayin'
